Globtroter is a guesthouse located in the heart of the Old Town—just 100 m from the Main Market Square—in a quiet courtyard with a colorful garden.
We have what is probably the most charming courtyard in Kraków!!!
Globtroter is an oasis of peace and quiet in the heart of the Old Town. All of our rooms have windows that open only onto the inner courtyard. This means that street noise doesn’t reach us, which is truly important in the Old Town with its bustling nightlife.
We invite you to a place that’s exceptional not only because of its warm, family-like atmosphere—free from the routine of a typical hotel—but also because of its simply ideal location:
- all the attractions of the Royal City are “right at your fingertips,” allowing you to thoroughly explore our history during the day, visit Kraków’s famous theaters in the evening, and immerse yourself in Kraków’s “underground” scene at night- a labyrinth of old cellars now home to clubs, galleries, and cabarets:
- sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the street, it guarantees a peaceful night’s sleep and a safe, relaxing stay;
- a charming garden creates an atmosphere conducive to recharging your batteries after intense sightseeing or an exhausting night out, offering pleasant coolness in the summer and shelter from unpleasant winds in the winter.
We offer single, double, and triple rooms, as well as larger rooms for 4 or 5 people. Our comfortable rooms feature private bathrooms, satellite TV, and tea and coffee-making facilities.
To meet your needs and make your stay in Kraków as pleasant as possible, we offer a range of additional amenities, including:
- free Internet access (Wi-Fi) in all rooms
- constant Internet access in the common area
- a 24-hour front desk where you can get all kinds of information about Kraków, its surroundings, and current cultural and entertainment events, as well as make reservations at the restaurant of your choice

Kraków—a city with county status in southern Poland, the seat of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, and the country’s second-largest city in terms of both population and area. The Kraków Metropolitan Area has a population of 1,468,427. It is situated on the Vistula River, within the Kraków Gate, the Nidzia Basin, and the Western Beskid Foothills. It is one of Poland’s oldest cities, with a history spanning over a thousand years; it boasts valuable architectural landmarks and is home to numerous cultural institutions and facilities housing priceless historical artifacts. Until 1795, Kraków was formally the capital of Poland, and until 1611, it served as the seat of Polish rulers. From 1596 to 1795—that is, until the Third Partition of Poland—as the capital of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, it shared its capital functions with Warsaw, which had become the king’s residential city.
